The invitation came from Dandan, a Chinese wanghong (influencer) with over 110 million followers, who Lee described as a long-time acquaintance. Dandan, who had a sales goal of 400 billion KRW for her Korean livestream, reached out last-minute requesting Lee’s presence on the show.
Lee tried to rearrange her schedule but ran into trouble booking a flight, until Dandan made an incredible offer: a private jet. “She seemed really desperate and said she’d send a private jet. I was completely blown away,” Lee said. The jet, reportedly costing around 70 million KRW, was arranged just for her.
